A characteristic feature of the Cold War.

There are several characteristic features of the Cold War. The participants in such a conflict are not officially at war. Military actions do not take place on the territory of the parties to the conflict. Military actions are hidden, proxy are taking place on the lands of other states. Thus, there is a redistribution of spheres of influence and sales markets. In addition, the lands of third countries are used as a testing ground for tactics and testing of new weapons in combat conditions. The Cold War is accompanied by an arms race. The participants in the conflict are waging an ideological and information war, they surround themselves with allies from among countries that are close in ideology and loyal countries that are financed by the regimes.
