BAC angle = 2 * BAO angle.
To find the BAO angle, consider the BAO triangle. It is rectangular because the radius (BO) drawn to the point of tangency is perpendicular to the tangent BA. The BO leg is equal to half of the AO hypotenuse, which means it lies opposite an angle of 30 degrees: BAO angle = 30. Then the BAC angle = 2 * 30 = 60.
