A cold spoon was dipped into a glass of hot tea after a while the spoon became warm and the tea in the glass cooled down. Is the reverse process possible?

This effect is called heat transfer, whereby the temperature of the tea and the spoon became equal, but since the tea was hot, it cooled down, and the cold spoon warmed up so that their temperature became the same. The reverse process is possible, while if you put a hot spoon in cold tea, it heats up, but not much, since the mass of the tea is greater than the mass of the spoon.
