1. It is necessary to find out how much the helicopter flew in 5 hours, since the plane took off after 2 hours of helicopter flight, and after 3 hours of its flight, it overtook the helicopter by 840 km. We get: 210km / h * 5h = 950km (the helicopter flew in 5 hours of flight).
