A process of a nerve cell, through which a nerve impulse is transmitted from the body of a nerve cell.

This part of the nerve cell is called an axon. The cell body transmits a nerve impulse to other cells using an axon. This is a small appendage. It transmits an impulse to another cell, which receives it with the help of another type of process – a dendrite. It is large relative to the axon. Synopsis are chemical in nature. The transfer reaction is very fast. The body of a nerve cell contains a nucleus and is capable of receiving and transmitting a signal. There is a misconception that nerve cells do not regenerate after damage, but in fact this is not the case.
