A small boat is pulled by a rope to the motor ship. Why don’t we notice that the ship is moving towards the boat?

According to Newton’s third law, if a body is acted upon with any force, then it also acts with the same force in the opposite direction. However, the mass of the ship is much greater than the mass of the boat, that the force capable of pulling the boat gives the ship only scanty acceleration and displacement, so we do not notice this.
