A story about the everyday life of peasants in the 17-18 century.

The peasants lived in small houses, consisting of one room, in the center of which was a table. They worked on the land, their main occupation was agriculture. In the 17th and 18th centuries, the peasants were dependent on the landowners, they did not own land plots. They ran the household on the allotment that the landowner allocated to them. For the use of this allotment, it was necessary to pay a quitrent or work off corvee. The size of these duties was set by the landowner. The peasants got up early and spent almost the whole day at work. They ate simple foods such as bread, bacon, vegetables and fruits (in season).
