Forest:
A nut falls from a branch – a squirrel eats it – a marten eats a squirrel – a fox eats a marten – a fox becomes a wolf’s prey – a wolf is eaten by a bear – a bear is eaten after death by beetles and midges – birds feed on midges.
Lake:
Beetles feed on the remains at the bottom – fish feed on beetles – snakes eat slaves – storks and herons feed on snakes.
