1. The bisector BE divides the parallelogram into two geometric shapes. One of them

triangle ABE. According to the properties of a parallelogram, it is isosceles.

AE = AB = 8 centimeters.

2. AD = AE + DE = 8 + 2 = 10 centimeters.

3.Considering that the sides of the parallelogram, located opposite each other, are equal, the perimeter of this geometric figure is calculated by the formula:

P (parallelogram perimeter) = 2 (AD + AB).

P = 2 (10 + 8) = 2 x 18 = 36 centimeters.

Answer: P is equal to 36 centimeters.
