Australopithecus. This type can be divided into three subgroups:
1. Australopithecus “Early”, existed 7 million years ago.
2. Australopithecus “Gracial”, replaced the previous species about 3.9 million years ago.
3. Australopithecus “Massive”, was the most developed representative of its subspecies, and lived about 2.6 million years ago.
Pithecanthropus. This species existed 1 million 700 thousand years ago.
Sinanthropus (known as the “Chinese man”). This ancient human ancestor lived 400 thousand years ago.
Cro-Magnon. The existence of this species, the closest to modern man, took place 30 thousand years ago.
