Air mass of the Subequatorial belt.

The subequatorial belt is a transitional belt. For this reason, there is a seasonal change in air masses in this area (equatorial in summer and tropical in winter). Equatorial air is characterized by high temperature and high humidity. Tropical air, if continental, is hot, dry, and if sea air, then it is less high-temperature and with a higher degree of humidity. Equatorial western monsoons dominate the belt in summer, and tropical eastern monsoons in winter. Therefore, in the subequatorial zone, the climate is, on average, hot and humid.
