Algae habitats.

Algae live in the aquatic environment. There are both freshwater and seaweed. They belong to the lower plants, since they do not have tissues and organs. Algae multiply by spores. They have been living on our planet for millions of years. There are also unicellular algae. They are located closer to the surface of the water and it seems that the water is green. It is these unicellular algae that provide our planet with 90% oxygen. All thanks to the aquatic habitat and their large number in the seas and oceans.
