An animal worshiped by the Indians.

The Indians worshiped the sacred cow. There were many legends about this animal. Once upon a time the son of the raja fell ill, and after a while a cow approached the palace. The boy was given milk to drink and he was cured. Indians began to believe in the healing power of cow’s milk. The written sources of antiquity tell that during the creation of the world, the Gods raised a cow from the bottom of the ocean, which could fulfill any desire. When a person dies, holding on to the tail of a cow, he enters the afterlife.
