Ancient Egypt said “Time has flown” explain why?

Because the ancient Egyptians measured time with a special water clock. Such a clock consisted of a vessel, on the walls of which 12 marks were carved, each of which marked the hour (the measure of the hour was the thickness of the finger – 18.7 mm). The Egyptians were able to calculate that there are 24 hours in a day, which they divided into night and day for 12 hours. A small hole was made at the bottom of the vessel, so when it was filled with water, time literally slipped away, showing the exact hour of the day or night.
