Animals choose habitats for many reasons, depending on their needs. Animals live in all habitats that are suitable for them. Some of these habitats include grasslands, rainforests, deserts, and arctic tundra.
People also help animals by providing them with a habitat. Some people build dams in the water to create habitats for fish, others accept pets.
