Are aldehydes and ketones interclass isomers?

Aldehydes and ketones are interclass isomers because, despite the fact that they belong to different classes (aldehydes have an aldehyde group -COH, and ketones have a keto group C = O), they have the same quantitative composition and molecular weight.

So both propanal CH3-CH2-COH and propanone (acetone) (CH3) 2CO have the same gross formula: C3H6O, i.e. the same quantitative composition and molecular weight.
