Regulation and control of the functions of body systems occurs thanks to the nervous system, more precisely the brain. All this happens, starting from the information constantly coming from the environment (internal and external). Nerves are conductors that transmit information without loss, and also transmit to nerve trunks passing nearby. The brain analyzes the mass of incoming information in order to make a decision, then form a procedure and make the most appropriate adaptive act to the prevailing conditions.
