Are feudal relations between peasants and feudal lords fair?

The relationship between peasants and feudal lords cannot be called unambiguously fair and beneficial to both parties. The inequality that has arisen between them only increases with time. The feudal lord grows rich by using the cheap labor of the peasantry or by leasing his land or tools for his use. The peasant, having no choice, is forced to work for the rich man in order to ensure his survival.
