Are Plants Objects of Living Nature?

Plants are one of the five kingdoms of living nature. Other kingdoms of living nature: animals, fungi, bacteria and viruses. All these kingdoms are united by the signs of the living. These are birth, development, nutrition, reproduction and death. But there are plants that scientists initially mistook for rocks, sediment, animals, or other objects, including shipwrecks and debris. These are mainly deep-sea plants. Only recently have people learned to distinguish living objects from non-living ones and class them as belonging to a specific kingdom of the living.
