Are ribosomes located in a prokaryotic cell?

First, let’s recall what ribosomes are. These are non-membrane cell organelles that perform the function of protein synthesis. They perform translation, or in other words, protein synthesis, thanks to mRNA. Ribosomes are clearly visible in prokaryotic cells, since ribosomes are one of the few organelles of prokaryotic cells. They move freely in the cytoplasm. In eukaryotes, ribosomes can move in the cytoplasm, or they can be attached to the cell membrane. Sometimes they can be both in the cytoplasm and on the cell membrane at the same time.
