Assessment of the relief and minerals of South America from the standpoint of the life and economic activities of the population.

Taking a look at the physical map of South America given in the appendix below, we can say that it is divided into two parts: the Western Mountain, which passes through the largest and longest mountains in the world (Andes), and the Eastern plain.In the west there are folded regions that associated with deposits of igneous and metamorphic rocks (copper, tin, silver, diamonds, salts, polymetallic ores, saltpeter). in the east lies the old South American platform, which is associated with deposits of minerals of sedimentary origin (iron, manganese, nickel, aluminum ore, oil , gas, coal).
