At the initial moment of time, the body had a speed of 2 m / s, during the first 10 seconds, the speed increased to 20 m / s. Find what movement the body made in the 6th second of the movement.

The instantaneous speed is found by the formula:

v = v0 + a * t.

From the condition of the problem we have (since at the initial moment the body was moving at a speed of 2 m / s, i.e. v0 = 2):

v = 2 + a * 10,

a = 1.8 m / s².

We will find the movement in 6 seconds of movement by the formula:

S = v0 * t + a * t² / 2 = 2 * 6 + 1.8 * 6² / 2 = 44.4 m.
