Bacteria capable of producing nutrients on their own.

Bacteria capable of independently synthesizing organic substances from inorganic ones are called chemotrophs and belong to the group of autotrophs. They receive nutrients through the oxidation of inorganic substances, using the energy of chemical reactions (in contrast to plants that use the energy of the sun). Chemotrophic bacteria can oxidize various substances, and on this basis they are divided into groups such as iron bacteria, sulfur bacteria, nitrifying bacteria and some others.
