Barium chloride was added to 200 grams of 20% sulfuric acid solution. Calculate the mass of the salt.

H2SO4 + BaCl2 = BaSO4 + 2HCl.
1) 200 * 20/100 = 40g – the mass of the solute of sulfuric acid in its solution.
2) Molar mass of sulfuric acid: 1 * 2 + 32 + 16 * 4 = 98.
3) 40/98 = 0.4 mol is the amount of sulfuric acid substance.
4) According to the reaction equation, there is one mole of barium sulfate per mole of sulfuric acid. This means that the amount of barium sulfate substance is 0.4 mol.
5) Molar mass of barium sulfate: 233 + 32 + 16 * 4 = 329.
6) 329 * 0.4 = 131.6g – the answer.
