A body cavity is a space in the body filled with internal organs. In arachnids, the body cavity is mixed (it is also called mixocel), which is typical for representatives of the arthropod type. Inside such a cavity, in contrast to the primary, there is no epithelial lining, and in addition, it contains hemolymph.
