First of all, mark the point A on the plane and construct the ray AP. With the help of the protractor, construct the ray AQ so that the angle QAP is 65 °.
Using a compass, draw a circle with a center at point A and a radius of 3 cm 5 mm. On the ray AQ we mark point B. By construction AB = 3 cm 5 mm.
Similarly, with the help of a compass, draw a circle with a center at point A and a radius of 5 cm.On ray AP, mark point C. By construction, AC = 5 cm.
Since point A lies on ray AP, and point B lies on ray AQ, then ∠BAC = ∠QAP = 65 °.
