Silicon (IV) oxide formula: SiO2. Formula of nitric oxide (II): NO. Relative molecular weights can be found in the periodic table (in the cell with each element, under the element symbol, there is a number that denotes the relative atomic mass). The sum of the atomic masses gives the molecular one. Molecular weight of SiO2 = 28 + 16 * 2 = 60. Molecular weight of NO = 14 + 16 = 28. Molecular weight of SiO2 is larger, to calculate, by a factor of several, it must be divided by molecular weight of NO. 60/28 = 2.14. 2.14 times more.
