Calculate in which of the substances FeCl2 and Fe (OH) 2 the iron content is higher.

To find out the amount of iron in one or another compound, we need to find the mass fraction of iron in the compound, for this we use a formula in which the mass of a substance is divided by the mass of the entire compound.
W (Fe in FeCl2) = 58/71 = 0.816 (81.6%)
W (Fe in Fe (OH) 2) = 58/92 = 0.63 (63%)
Thus, we learned that FeCl2 contains more iron than Fe (OH) 2
