| To find out the amount of iron in one or another compound, we need to find the mass fraction of iron in the compound, for this we use a formula in which the mass of a substance is divided by the mass of the entire compound.
W (Fe in FeCl2) = 58/71 = 0.816 (81.6%)
W (Fe in Fe (OH) 2) = 58/92 = 0.63 (63%)
Thus, we learned that FeCl2 contains more iron than Fe (OH) 2
