Calculate the area of the quadrilateral ABCD if the width of the rectangle ABCD is 2 cm and the length is 4 cm, it is known that the area of the straight line of the triangle CD is 6 cm2.

The area of the quadrangle AВСD is equal to the sum of the areas ABCE and СDE.

By condition, ABCE is a rectangle with sides of 2 cm and 4 cm.
