Calculate the magnetic induction of the field, if the length of the conductor is 50 cm, the speed is 10 m / s, the angle is 90 degrees against the magnetic lines and the EMF is 25 volts?

The voltage arising in a magnetic field when moving a conductor, length l, at an angle a with the direction of the velocity v to the direction of the magnetic field lines, or the induction vector B, is determined by the formula:

e = U = – B * l * v * sina, (1) from where you can express the induction formula B:

B = – e / l * v * sina. Let us express all the quantities included in formula (1) in the SI system, and substitute:

l = 50 cm = 0.5 m; e = 25 V; v = 10 m / s;

B = 25 V / 0.5 m * 10 (m / s) * sin 90 = 25/5 * 1 = 5 (T).

Received the value of induction in (T) – Tesla, since this is the unit of measurement of induction in SI.
