The weight of the solution is 4 + 21 = 25 grams.
Let’s calculate the mass fraction of salt.
To do this, divide the mass of salt by the mass of the solution.

In a similar way, we calculate the mass fraction of the solution.
From solvent = 21/25 = 0.84 = 84%;
