| 1. Knowing the volume of gas, in relation to normal conditions, we calculate its chemical amount:
n (CO2) = V (CO2): Vm = 44.8: 22.4 = 2 mol;
2. Calculate the mass of carbon dioxide:
m (CO2) = n (CO2) * M (CO2);
M (CO2) = 12 + 2 * 16 = 44 g / mol;
m (CO2) = 2 * 44 = 88 g.
Answer: 88 g.
