3) According to the reaction equation, there is one mole of carbon dioxide per mole of calcium carbonate. This means that the amount of carbon dioxide substance is 2.25 mol.
4) Molar mass of carbon dioxide: 12 + 32 = 44.
5) The mass of carbon dioxide: 2.25 * 44 = 9g – the answer.
