Calculate the mass of the Al salt which is formed by the interaction of 10 g of AlCl3 with a solution of AgNO3.

The equation of the ongoing reaction: AlCl3 + 3AgNO3 = Al (NO3) 3 + 3AgCl.
1) According to the periodic table, we find the molar mass of aluminum chloride: 27 + 35.5 * 3 = 133.5.
2) Find the amount of aluminum chloride substance. To do this, we divide the mass by the molar mass: 10 / 133.5 = 0.07 mol.
3) According to the reaction equation, there is one mole of aluminum nitrate for one mole of aluminum chloride. This means that the amount of nitrate substance is 0.07 mol.
4) Molar mass of aluminum nitrate: 27 + 3 (14 + 48) = 213.
5) The mass of aluminum nitrate: 213 * 0.07 = 14.91 g – the answer.
