Calculate the perimeter of the rectangle ABCD if AB = 7 cm and the length of the BC side is 2 cm longer than the length of the AB side.

The perimeter of a rectangle is the sum of the lengths of all its sides. The opposite sides of the rectangle are the same. Determine the length of the side of the aircraft:

7 + 2 = 9 cm – the length of the BC side.

Now we can define the perimeter of the rectangle:

P = 7 + 9 + 7 + 9 = 32 cm – the perimeter of the rectangle ABCD.
