The length of an arc of a circle through its angle in radians can be found by the following formula:
L = xR, where is the radian measure of the central angle of the arc, R is the radius of the circle.
From this formula, we express the radius of the circle. We get
R = L / x.
We know both values on the right side of the formula. Find the radius of the circle:
R = 0.36 / 0.9 = 36/9 = 4 m.
Answer: the radius of the circle is 4 meters.
