Calculate the relative density in terms of hydrogen and air: 1) carbon dioxide CO2 2) methane CH4
September 9, 2021 | education
| The relative molecular weight of air is 29 g / mol, hydrogen – respectively 2 g / mol.
The molar mass of carbon dioxide is 44 g / mol.
CO2 density by air = 44/29 = 1.52; for hydrogen = 44/2 = 22.
The molar mass of methane is 16 g / mol. Find the density by air – 16/29 = 0.55; into hydrogen = 16/2 = 8.
