1) A cube is a three-dimensional figure that consists of six identical squares so that each square is completely in contact with its four sides to the sides of the other four squares at right angles. A cube is a regular polyhedron, whose faces are formed from squares. Volume of the cube through the length of the edge a: V = a ^ 3
The surface area of a cube is a set of planes of all faces: S = 6a ^ 2.

2) We use the volume formula from point 1: V = a ^ 3 = 27 cm ^ 3.

3) S = 6 * 3 ^ 2 = 6 * 9 = 54 cm ^ 2.
