Calculate the volume of a rectangular paralleleaiped, the base area and the height of which are 136 cm2 and 5 cm and 154 cm2 and 8 cm.
To find the volume of the figure, the volume formula is used equal to the product, where the factors are the base area and the height.
Therefore, when the base has an area of 136 cm2, and the height is 5 cm, then the volume will be equal to:
136 * 5 = 680 (cm3).
If the base area is 154 cm2 and the height is 8 cm, then the volume will be:
154 * 8 = 1232 (cm3).
Answer: in the first case, the volume of the parallelepiped is 680 cm3, in the second task the volume is 1232 cm3.
