Calculate the volume of a rectangular parallelepiped whose base area and height are equal

Calculate the volume of a rectangular parallelepiped whose base area and height are equal: a) 12cm, 45cm, 2cm; b) 16cm, 23cm, 25cm; c) 11cm, 11cm, 11cm.

From the very beginning, it makes sense to remember what is the formula for calculating the volume of a rectangular parallelepiped with given measurement lengths:

V = a * b * c,

where V is the volume of the parallelepiped,

a, b and c are the lengths of the dimensions of the parallelepiped.

Therefore, we get:

1) V = a * b * c = [a = 12 cm; b = 45 cm; c = 2 cm] = 12 * 45 * 2 = 1080 cm 3.

2) V = a * b * c = [a = 16 cm; b = 23 cm; c = 25 cm] = 16 * 23 * 25 = 9200 cm 3.

3) V = a * b * c = [a = 11 cm; b = 11 cm; c = 11 cm] = 11 * 11 * 11 = 1331 cm 3.
