| Calculate the volume of a rectangular parallelepiped whose base area and height are: a) 136 cm (2) and 5 cm b) 298 cm (2) and 4 cm c) 154 cm (2) and 8 cm d) 91 cm (2) and 19 cm
The volume of a rectangular parallelepiped is equal to the product of the area of the base and the height:
v = Sh.
The base areas and heights are known, we multiply them and find the volumes of our parallelepiped:
a) 136 * 5 = 680 cm³.
b) 298 * 4 = 1192 cm³.
c) 154 * 8 = 1232 cm³.
d) 91 * 19 = 1729 cm³.
