Calculate the volume of H2 that is released under the action of 365 g of a 20% hydrochloric acid solution on Al.

We draw up an equation for the reaction and place the coefficients:
6HCl + 2Al = 2AlCl3 + 3H2.
1) Find the mass of the solute of hydrochloric acid in its solution. To do this, we multiply the mass fraction of the substance by the mass of the solution and divide by one hundred percent: 365 * 20/100 = 73g.
2) Molar mass of hydrochloric acid: 35.5 + 1 = 36.5.
3) Amount of hydrochloric acid substance: 73 / 36.5 = 2 mol.
4) According to the reaction equation, there are three moles of hydrogen for six moles of hydrochloric acid. This means that the amount of hydrogen substance is: 6 * 2/3 = 4 mol.
5) The volume of hydrogen is: 4 * 22.4 = 89.6 liters – the answer.
