Calculate the water pressure at the bottom of one of the deepest sea depressions – the Mariana, whose depth is 10,900 m. The density of seawater is 1030 kg / m3.

The pressure of the liquid exerted on the walls of the vessel at a depth h is determined by the formula: p = ρ * g * h, where p is the pressure, g is the acceleration of gravity, ρ is the density of the liquid, then we get:
P = 1030 * 9.8 * 10900 = 110024600 Pa = 110 MPa.
This result was obtained under the assumption that the density is constant with depth.
