Can a dog get sore throat from humans?

But whether a dog can get infected from a person is a rather controversial question. Some say that this is impossible. The dog may get hypothermic and get sick from this, but angina is not transmitted from humans in most cases. But infection occurs if a person has an acute phase of angina, and the dog has direct contact with a person. Even then, infection does not always occur.
