Can a person live without water?

The human body is approximately two-thirds water, while the brain cells are 85% water. Even human bones are 25% water.
This explains why a person can live without food for five to seven weeks, and without water – no more than one week.
Water in the body must be constantly in motion and renewed otherwise a person will die from dehydration.
