Bone is a formation consisting of both inorganic substances (calcium, phosphorus) and organic ones. When any acid acts on the bone, the inorganic substances of the bone are destroyed, only organic ones remain. These substances give the bone flexibility and elasticity. Therefore, after the acid affects the bone, it can be bent and slightly stretched. In the opposite case, if the organic matter of the bone is removed by burning, only the mineral remains, which give the bone hardness and strength.
