Can plastids transform into each other?

Proplastids divide and are produced in meristematic cells, and then they are distributed among the derivatives of cells when exposed to light, depending on the structures in which they are found, as well as depending on intracellular factors that turn them into colorless plastids or colored plastids. Leukoplasts, when exposed to light, turn into green plastids. Likewise, chloroplasts can become leukoplasts; but colored plastids, for example, in the petals, are mostly definitively differentiated.
