Can we say that cyclostomes are extremely harmful animals?

Although most of the representatives of cyclostomes are engaged in parasitic and predatory life, it cannot be assumed that they are exclusively harmful animals. They, like other living organisms, belong to the natural communities in which they live. For example, the larva of cyclostomes acts as a filter feeder, helping to cleanse the aquatic environment. Such a species of cyclostomes as lamprey is an object for fishing.
