Can we talk about the connection between the natural conditions of the country

Can we talk about the connection between the natural conditions of the country and the occupations of the inhabitants using the example of Ancient Egypt?

In ancient times, the development of any state directly depended on natural conditions. And Egypt, of course, was no exception. In order for the state to exist in ancient times, the following were needed: fertile lands, a temperate climate and rivers (for fishing). All three of these conditions were actually met, although Egypt was a rather hot country, but the flood of the Nile made it possible to obtain the required amount of water and moisture for the development of agriculture. Therefore, we can say for sure that the economy of Egypt was directly related to natural conditions.
