Carry out the chain of transformations: C3H8- C3H6- C3H7OH- C2H5COH- C2H5COOH

1) Propane decomposes into propylene and hydrogen:
C3H8 → C3H6 + H2 ↑;
2) Propylene reacts with water and forms – propyl alcohol:
C3H6 + H2O → C3H7OH;
3) Propyl alcohol reacts with copper (II) oxide and we get – propionic aldehyde, pure copper and water:
C3H7OH + CuO → C2H5COH + Cu + H2O;
4) Propionic aldehyde interacts with silver oxide, and propionic acid and silver are formed:
C2H5COH + Ag2O → C2H5COOH + 2Ag.
